Plug-in Information

This plug-in was created to export additional product information. This extended export will continue to create your .csv file, but your product exports will be more comprehensive and display more product information. This will help you to continue to use the .csv export for other 3rd party applications, reporting or for being used again as a bulk product loader file.


About the Developer

This plug-in was created by Reaching Edge Design Group, an active 3rd party developer that develops and creates plug-in and many other customizations for Pinnacle Cart and other compatible shopping cart systems. Reaching Edge Design Group has been using and developing around the Pinnacle Cart system since 2004 and is pleased to help promote the core fantastic functionality of the this cart system, with our easy to manage plug-in.

Reaching Edge Design Group cannot be held responsible for a failed installation due to other customizations by your yourself or other 3rd party developers. The goal of each plug-in is to make installation, un-installation, and reinstallation easy; especially in the event of a cart upgrade. Installation Instructions
  1. FTP plug-in content into the proper directory of your cart: content/admin/plugins
  2. log into the admin area
  3. go to the Marketing Icon in the upper right and select "Cart Plug-ins"
  4. Select "Miscellaneous Plug-ins"
  5. Select the newly installed "Extended Product Export" Plug-in
  6. Enable the Plug-in and it will install everything automatically
Plug-In Use Instructions
  1. Enable the Plug-in
  2. Enable your Wholesale Settings
  3. Once these are enabled you can export your product database as usual, but you will see additional information once the .csv file is processed.
Other Considerations
  • In the event of a cart upgrade, don't forget to disable the plug-in before you begin. This will uninstall the plugin. Once the upgrade is completed you can re-enable it.
  • This will overwrite the content/admin/admin_backup_restore.php file
