This plug-in was created to help administrate wholesaler and regular users a little more efficiently. We understand that sometimes you may want to make certain categories accessible to a certain group of users and/or available to the entire public. This is especially useful if only wholesale users are allowed to see categories that the general public shouldn't see.

- FTP plug-in content into the proper directory of your cart: content/admin/plugins
- log into the admin area
- go to the Marketing Icon in the upper right and select "Cart Plug-ins"
- Select "Miscellaneous Plug-ins"
- Select the newly installed "Wholesale or Public Categories" Plug-in
- Enable the Plug-in and it will install everything automatically
|
- Enable the Plug-in
- Enable your Wholesale Settings
- Once these are enabled you can manage categories as usual, but you will see a new drop down box of options. This will help the cart system distinguish which categories a user can see.
- Activating this option only affects categories from displaying in the category navigation. It only modifies the default category navigation scheme.
- This plug-in is not designed to work with our CSS Popout Menu plug-in. Let us know if you need this and we can help customize it to work with that and any other customized category navigation.
|
- In the event of a cart upgrade, don't forget to disable the plug-in before you begin. This will uninstall the plugin. Once the upgrade is completed you can re-enable it.
